Waiting for the train to NY from Northport. Taken on the station platform, just as the train was coming in. Actually it was only 5:00 pm, but with daylight savings time, it gets dark as night quite early.

Exhibit at the Sony booth, PDN Photoplus Expo 2010. So hard to get a shot with all those big guys and their big lenses, I wanted to give them the double finger too!

Couldn't resist the mat black coffee mug based on a John Baldessari painting in the exhibit "Pure Beauty" at the Metropolitan Museum. It even came with its own box of chalk sticks. I guess you could call this ephemeral art...since eventually you have to wash your cup!

"My Baby Rides The Subway"

I had fun at the PDN Photoplus Expo 2010 at the Javits Center and created this "video" for "vimeo." Since I used my Nikon D80 and it doesn't do video, this is really a slideshow with a soundtrack of a tune the band "Dirty Urchins" performed. This is my first attempt at a "movie" using the freebie Windows Movie Maker program that came with the laptop. I see some things that need "tweaking"....but I'll try better for the next movie. I think the grainy, slightly blurry, B&W goes with this band and the "subway song"...just my opinion. Hey, I was a contender!
