Painful Transition

Lesson learned....no way to break in a new pair of boots!

After a summer of walking barefoot (at home) or wearing thongs & sandals, it was time of put on a pair of new Fall boots. They were very comfortable, even with 2-inch heels, and so I mistakenly thought wearing them for a day at the Newark Museum would work. Big mistake! I was there from 11:30 am to 8:30 pm and literally on my feet for most of that time...result...the walking wounded. It was my toes that got "broken in," not the boots!
