Just thought I'd "wake up" this blog again with a posting. I bought these gourds to use when I give a tour for the visually impaired at the Newark Museum. They fit in with the gourds in Winslow Homer's Civil War painting, "At Appomatix."

Although color is part of Jeff Koons' creation, I thought the combination of reflections, transparent areas, and cut outs showing the actual landscape, made an interesting photo.

The riot of color in the garden was almost too much..so I converted the photos into black and white. Now the beautiful architecture of nature stands out.
